Hello. I can’t seem to find Yellow Bitter profile on Bru n water. If someone could send that water profile my way it would be much appreciate. CHEERS
Ca 50 | Mg 10 | Na 5 | SO4 105 | Cl 45 and I like to aim for a pH of 5.2 to 5.3
Thanks!
Mash temp/schedule?
Mash at 150F for 60 min.
i should have checked this post before I started brewing – I went 152, might be a slight sweeter than intended but I’m sure it will be fine. The color on this is gorgeous!
Highly doubt it’ll be perceptibly sweeter, maybe just a touch less ABV is all.

OG 1.050 – VERY tasty going into the fermenter. I pitched a slurry of 029. Will report in a few weeks!
Just finish crushing 3 pints for breakfast. Crazy Delicious. If you’re into pales, this is da kine! Beautiful fruity aromas and a solid malt backbone and a nice little bite at the end. Not crazy bitter, nicely balanced IMO. I didn’t pick up any roasty notes at all. This one is solid. Thanks again for the awesome recipes.
Awesome! I haven’t made this beer in awhile.
Day 2 – 4 more pints in and OH CHEEZUS this is effen delicious brother. Why isn’t this a staple!? Chuggable! Uncomplicated. SO easy to drink!
I just smashed down the last few pints of this with my LHBS and a few customers. EVERYONE loved this brew. 3 months after brewing this beer is very tasty, nice mouth feel, soft citrus aroma and is ‘guzzle’ status. Will be brewing my second batch next week, I plan to switch up yeast strains to WLP080. Will report back later.. Cheers to an awesome recipe!
