I love your site, but I have trouble getting back to the many articles I have found interesting. Do you have a site map that might assist me?
I’ll have to look into what a site map is… as of now, I don’t think I have one :-/
Love this site too!
Hey guys, just a feedback from your Brazilians readers. It would be nice to see metric units too, maybe between parenthesis. Thanks for your amazing articles.
Metric is hard 🙁
I’ll try to be more vigilant…
+1 for the Metric system (Spain here). Maybe a good system to finance the site would be something like patreon, have you taken a look?.
I try Tiago.
Every time I put them in the rough draft Marshall edits them out. He hates me and my love of the more logical metric system. I will continue to fight the good fight for the base 10 system. Keep up the pressure. He cannot resist us forever!
Obrigado por nos apoiar (not sure if that’s grammatically correct).
Wouldn’t mind ordering a set of Brulosophy tasting glasses. *wink wink*
Shipping those makes them too expensive for more people, unless you buy them in lots of 6 or more 🙁
Hi,
Have you tried reaching your site in a mobile phone (Android here) it actually redirects you to a load of website and it’s impossible to reach the main website.
Sorry Vincent, site was hacked. When you go to the (benign) spam site, tap back on your mobile device then tap the link again, it should work fine. Getting this all sorted out now.
The xbmt “Yeast Comparison: Wyeast 1318 London Ale III vs. Wyeast 1056 American Ale (NEIPA)” has a broken link. I would really like to read this one.
I’ll get that fixed soon, here’s the link:
https://brulosophy.wpvence.com/2017/03/20/yeast-comparison-wyeast-1318-london-ale-iii-vs-wyeast-1056-american-ale-neipa-exbeeriment-results/
Do you have a YouTube channel? If you recorded your brew sessions and testing, you could make some extra cash…
Thanks for the Podcast guys, I’m making a purchase through Amazon.co.uk specifically for this reason.
I did a pilsner recipe using S-189 and S-05 together as an experiment and just wanted to let you guys know it turned out great !!! I Love the site and all the information available. Thanks for putting it down for all of us to learn from.
This is the only place i could find to ask this question. I downloaded the Mild and Amber Patreon recipes in the xml format to Beersmith. Both recipes mash in with 120 degree water. Is this for BIAB purposes?
Hey Ron! Sorry for the confusion, I’m not sure why it’s saying to mash in so low, as none of us would do that regardless of approach. I’d suggest determining strike temp to reach the stated mash temp that works for your system. Cheers!
Hi guys. I have subscribed to Patreon and made the Pledge but I have not received the password to view the recipes. Will I have to wait until the new month before I can view them?
Hey Warren,
Yeah, I’ll send out all the reward stuff in the first week of January. Hit me up and I’ll hook you up early- marshall@brulosophy.wpvence.com
I’m interested in signing up for at least the $3 Patreon contribution. I have a question about the video Q&A. Are the Q&As recorded? Just thinking of availability for the live aspect. Thanks for all the awesome work you all do!
Yes! All livecasts are recorded and kept on the secret Brülosophy Patron Page so you can watch them whenever you like.
Hi just joined patreon would like to view recipes password doesn’t seem to be working please advise thank you
Hi there, Have just had my first payment from Patreon and it seems I’m not the first to ask this question, but how does the access to the Patreon recipes work.
Kind wish,
Bruce
Rewards will be distributed very shortly! Patreon has yet to indicate all pledges have been processed, but I’ll get it taken care of as soon as they do. Cheers!
Hi
I was trying to go through the Amazon link but I don’t think it’s working properly. It goes to smile.amazon site but I’m not sure how to make Brulosophy the beneficiary (does not show up in a search). Anyone else getting this lately?
Appreciate your support! The link actually does benefit us, as well as whoever you setup with Smile. Double dipping for good!
awesome. definitely threw me off when it asked what charity i wanted to support
I like reading your experiments. The open fermentation of a English ale caught my eye. I’ve been considering a pressurize fermentation with a lager brew, it’s my understanding with a pressurized fermentation you could ferment at a higher temperature. and have wondered if you’ve done anything like this before.
+ 1 for metric too! It’s amazing how difficult it is to “see” a recipie you when it’s not in the units you are used too.
Not complaining though, I really value the information you guys are putting out there, thank you.
+++1 for metric – you have a lot of fans and listeners in Eu. Please consider adding the recipes in both Imperial and metric. thanks.
Hey Marshall – have been a fan or the podcast for a while. I help admin a number of UK/EU homebrewing groups. Is there any chance that you can list the Metric equivalents for the recipes please ? It’d make them less of a hassle to try. Great website and podcasts. <3
Hey, big fan of the website, I’d love to buy one or two of your shirts but I can’t seem to find a website that ships them to europe. Any lead on where I can buy your merch in France?
Unfortunately, we’re at a bit of a merch impasse at the moment. I may have some shirts stowed away, shoot me an email (Marshall AT brulosophy DOT com) and we’ll try to figure something out.
Hey there, Brulosophy! Just a heads up, your support link to William’s Brewing seems to be broken. I know they’ve done some recent work on their website and may have broken your affiliate link.
Thanks!
Would love to be able to get your podcast on Pocket Casts app
I really wanted to participate in the “January 2021 Q&A Livecast w/ Lorena Evans from HomebrewTalk” but no one would let me into the private facebook group. You need a better system because this is very disappointing.
No comment here for a long time, so wanted to leave my footprint.
Just got hooked by the Brulosophy podcast recently. Love it!! And the best part is… I have still have >200 episodes to catch up on. 🙂
I’d like to get a hold of your glassware with the brulosophy logo, do you sell it?
Currently, no. But we are looking into options!
Hi. When I do a search for exbeeriments, the returned results don’t function as links. I’ve tried this in 3 different browsers with the same results. Just thought I’d let you know. Thanks.
Hi Pete,
Thanks for the heads up. This is an issue we’ve been steadily working to remedy and hope to have completed sooner than later.
Cheers,
Marshall
